Hey, I’m Allan, founder of Design Church. I design impactful ministry brands to help churches and ministries reach people. My heart is rooted in serving church planters and ministry leaders, empowering them to fulfill their mission and transform their communities through polished, professional design that inspires trust and connection.
This passion didn’t develop overnight. It’s been shaped by over a decade of ministry, leadership, and creative work, combined with a deep desire to see the Gospel reach more people in meaningful and tangible ways. Let me share a bit of my story and why I’m so committed to creating high-quality, affordable, mission-centered design for churches and ministries.
During my career, I served as the Content Creative Producer and eGroups Director at Elevation Church, one of the most innovative and impactful churches in the world. This experience gave me a front-row seat to see how intentional, high-quality design can enhance a ministry’s ability to communicate its message and connect with people. I learned the power of cohesive visuals and storytelling in bringing people closer to Jesus.
From there, I transitioned into the role of Microchurch Director at Greenhouse Church South Florida, where I had the privilege of helping small, localized communities embody the mission of Jesus in their neighborhoods. This role deepened my understanding of the importance of clarity, trust, and consistency—not just in ministry strategy but in how ministries present themselves visually to their communities.
Previous to these roles, I gained valuable experience working in creative education at institutions like the Savannah College of Art & Design, New York Film Academy, and Full Sail University. These experiences honed my skills as a visual storyteller, equipping me to create impactful visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.
Today, my wife Anissa and I are planting Influence Miami, a house church movement in the Miami-Dade region. This endeavor is deeply personal to us. We’re passionate about seeing lives transformed through intimate, Gospel-centered communities that meet people where they are. I understand firsthand the challenges of balancing vision, resources, and execution. This perspective fuels my desire to serve other leaders who are navigating similar journeys.
Planting Influence Miami continually reinforces a key truth for me: a church’s mission is far too important to be hindered by poor or inconsistent branding. In a world saturated with polished visuals and cohesive messaging, churches and ministries need to stand out—not for the sake of competition, but to remove barriers and create clear, compelling connections with people seeking hope and truth.
